What is this thing called Rest?
And what do I do with it? Are there instructions that come with it?
Sunday morning swirling thoughts. Play, relaxation and rest, reading all the books, leaning into learning, believing, believing in yourself—maybe that’s called trust.
The other morning I did a 30-minute slow flow yoga practice, and at the end, as we gloriously lay down on our backs for Shavasana (i.e. the BEST part of yoga!) the instructor said “Don’t be afraid to rest”. And a lightbulb went off in my head.
And from that lightbulb comes the latest podcast. Listen if you have a slow moment to spare on this beautiful morning!
