It’s 4:30 pm. The sun’s dipping below the horizon, and you’re racing to turn on every light in the house because, in 30 minutes, it’s going to feel like midnight.
By 7:00 pm, you’re staring at the clock, shocked and bewildered. How is it only 7:00?! you cry out.
And by 8:30, crawling into bed feels less like a guilty pleasure and more like a survival strategy.
