And I thought I hated Pilates!

I thought I hated Pilates.

I thought we were done; it was over. I gave it a chance, and all I got from it was a deep knowing that holding my head up for long periods of pulsing and tapping was NOT FOR ME.

So for years, I shunned it. Avoided it. Talked about it behind its back.

BUT THEN…

I tried it again.

And isn’t it amazing what second chances can do for a stubborn monster like me?

Now I’m certain I’m not a Pilates outlier; I know many of you haven’t given Pilates a fair go either because maybe it felt too difficult, or not difficult enough, or not something you needed to add to your existing workout repertoire—I’m good, I don’t need a ‘magic circle’ in my life. Oh, how very wrong you are!
