Our Words: Do They Inspire or Deflate?

I never… track my steps.

I wish… I could lose my belly.

I should… workout today.

Or fill in the blank with any aspiration because no matter what it is… it falls flat.

It doesn’t inspire. It doesn’t move you to take instant action. It doesn’t make you want to get up and go for it!

So why do we say these things so often?

Today’s “quick bite” is about how we unknowingly allow these words to slip into our conversations without realizing the effect they’re having on our brains. Our subconscious is always listening and wiring and firing so it’s in our best interest to start paying attention!
