I think truly, not in a cliche way that happiness is a choice. That you can be blissful when you’re 30 lbs overweight and devastated when you’re richer than the average Joe can imagine. You decide how to perceive all of those things. Some things are obviously worse or better than others but happiness and unhappiness exists everywhere.
Time, now that is really the precious commodity, after my husband’s cancer a few years ago I realized that’s really all you have. Right now and your memories of what’s happened. I try to pay attention so it doesn’t go by unnoticed!
💖 I couldn't agree more with you Rachel! Happiness/joy/love isn't an end result. It's here for us and it can exist anywhere and everywhere, we just need to become more aware - that's the tricky part.
