Tearing both ACLs sounds downright dreadful—but for Harrison Powell, it sparked an idea that turned into a “wiggle”!
After years of suffering from stiffness and joint pain that made it nearly impossible for him to get down on the floor to play with his daughters, Harrison turned to physical therapists, yoga instructors, and tai chi experts to figure out the best way to stretch without it being too long, too difficult, and too boring (because let’s face it, stretching is like flossing—we know we should buuuuuttt..)
Two torn ACLs led to the birth of a five-minute daily stretch and habit-building program called Daily Wiggles. Harrison attests that these stretches allowed him to ease the stiffness and improve his mobility over time.
Harrison is now rolling around on the floor with his kids, sitting cross-legged while giving interviews, and showing us all how we can wiggle anywhere at any time—and even do it with a smile on our faces! (This is an impressive stretching rebrand!)
Now Harrison has one goal: to make stretching accessible to everyone, in a way that’s easy to stick with so you actually feel the difference.
He’s also created a community of supportive “wigglers” who share tips, guidance, and encouragement—and even Harrison connects directly with wigglers to keep them motivated and inspired!
There’s no easier way to begin feeling flexible, limber, and loose than with Daily Wiggles.
If you’re curious how it works and how it can help you create a solid daily habit that will make you feel good in your body, listen in as Harrison and I talk about his growing wiggles community, and how five minutes a day of wiggling is all you need to begin feeling more flexible, fluid, and pain-free.
